Opening: Software Developer in Test (FTE)
Danube Technologies, Inc. is looking for experienced SDETs or QA professionals with software development experience to work on its flagship product line, ScrumWorks®. Danube is an established leader in the Agile and Scrum markets, with offices in Bellevue, Washington and Portland, Oregon. The Bellevue office seeks QA engineers who have Java programming experience to work on cross-functional Agile teams using XP style engineering practices.
With no independent QA department, Danube's QA staff work hand-in-hand with developers on cross-functional Scrum teams. Duties include writing user acceptance test, manual exploratory testing, and automated testing.
Successful QA candidates must have sufficient Java programming ability to write automated tests using JUnit, Abbot, FitNesse, and Selenium, and other similar Java/JUnit based automated testing platforms.
Danube's team environment fosters mentoring, pairing, and collaborative problem solving. Candidates must also have a strong willingness to work with and help impart knowledge to others in a collaborative environment.
