Opening: Senior Java Engineer (FTE)

Danube Technologies, Inc. is looking for experienced Java developers with strong OO skills to work on its flagship product line, ScrumWorks®. Danube is an established leader in Agile and Scrum methods, with offices in Bellevue, Washington and Portland, Oregon. The Bellevue office seeks senior Java programmers ideally with Agile experience.

Danube seeks Java developers with a strong background in test-centric development; specifically, automated testing using JUnit, Abbot, and Selenium. Candidates must be willing and eager to use "extreme programming" style practices to devise and write their own automated tests.

Experience with Danube's technical environment is important, including client-side Java, server-side Java, EJB 3, Ant, JUnit, and Javascript / AJAX. Candidates with Spring, Hibernate, JIDE Framework, Abbot test framework, the JBoss platform, and Continuous integration get extra brownie points.

Danube's team environment fosters mentoring, pairing, and collaborative problem solving. Candidates must also have a strong willingness to work with and help impart knowledge to others in a collaborative environment.
